Calibration blocks and reference standards manufactured to support equipment calibration, procedure development, and weld examination in accordance with ASME BPVC Section V, Article 4.
We manufacture standard and custom ASME V calibration blocks for ultrasonic testing (UT), including non-piping blocks to T-434.2.1 and piping blocks to T-434.3-1.
We can also manufacture weld mock-ups and reference standards to support T-451 requirements for coarse-grain materials, including reference reflectors positioned within the weld deposit.

Calibration blocks manufactured to support the examination of non-piping components in accordance with applicable ASME V requirements, including T-434.2.1.
Blocks can be manufactured to the required material, thickness and reflector configuration for the examination application.
Curved calibration blocks manufactured to support ultrasonic examination of piping in accordance with applicable ASME V requirements, including T-434.3-1.
Blocks can be manufactured around the required pipe diameter, wall thickness, material and reflector configuration.
Weld mock-ups and reference standards can also be manufactured to support T-451 requirements for coarse-grain materials, where weld structure can affect ultrasonic wave propagation.
These can incorporate representative weld deposits with reference reflectors positioned within the weld metal to support development and qualification of the examination technique.
Custom calibration blocks, weld mock-ups and reference standards can be manufactured to meet specific examination requirements.
